Indian Search Engine

So recently I was looking for an Indian Search Engine and found out that recently a new Indian Search Engine named Guruji Launched. It was founded by two Delhi IIT graduates launched the country’s first local Internet search engine, with a commitment of $7 million from a leading Indian venture capital firm.

Well thats really a nice effort. The site itself is really nice. They also have local search similar to google's local search. Its called city search. They covered around 12 cities of India. You can find out the businesses and its addresses within those cities.

So within few days I found out about Google co-op search which is basically defining your own custom search engine. I gave it a try to include Indian sites and try to mimic "Indian Search Engine". It turned out pretty nice and works pretty good (without investing $7 million :-)). I named it "Information Madness"
